Corrections, Credit, and Source Updates

What this route covers

Use this route to report:

• a factual or wording error;
• an official source that moved, changed, or no longer supports a statement;
• missing or incorrect source credit;
• a copyright or supported removal concern;
• personal or confidential information that should not appear;
• an accessibility barrier;
• a broken link or technical problem.

A disagreement with a conclusion can also be submitted. Identify the exact statement and the evidence that should be considered.

How to make a request

Call +1 808 358 1477. A useful request includes:

1. The exact Raku page URL.
2. The statement, image, source, or interaction at issue.
3. The type of request: correction, source update, credit, removal, privacy, accessibility, or technical issue.
4. A direct supporting source or a short explanation.
5. Your relationship to the material, when relevant.
6. A safe response method.

Privacy warning: Do not provide Social Security numbers, Medicare identifiers, medical records, passwords, tax identifiers, employee health information, full policy numbers, or full account numbers during initial contact. Do not send payment details or credentials here. If evidence contains sensitive information, a safe handling method can be agreed during the call.

Review approach

Matt will compare the request with the page, cited source, available record, and applicable content standard. Depending on the evidence, Raku may correct text, update a source, add context, add credit, restrict material while it is reviewed, remove material, or explain why no change was made.
